FAQ Updated to 1.2 but no presets in LayR Audio Unit To copy existing presets to the Audio Unit you need to run the stand-alone app once. Prior to 1.2 LayR’s presets were stored in the iTunes documents folder. With 1.2 they are now stored in an area which is shared between IAA and all instances of Audio Unit. When you run the app for the first time after updating it will ask you to allow it to copy presets to the new location. (If you’re using the AU remember to quit the IAA app because that is also an instance of LayR!). Audio stutters when LayR goes to background or comes to foreground. This should not happen but it can sometimes and, if it does, it’s often because some other process is causing the CPU to be overly busy. The cure is usually to force restart your device and or to force quit other apps that are also using a lot of CPU.
